Brought to you by multi-label boutique Eclecticism, Lauren Jasmine was conceptualized and co-designed by Singaporeans, Hazel Chang and Liyana Johan who wanted to design work-appropriate pieces that still embrace the eclectic and diverse styles that Eclecticism represents.
Lauren Jasmine's first flagship store opened in November 2010 at Pacific Plaza, in a boutique-style setting to reflect the brand's distinctive and exclusive nature. The label is named after Hazel's niece Lauren Jasmine, who at four years old inspired the creation of the brand and its first season. Beautiful, precocious and confident, she has already begun to invent her own sense of style by specifying what she wants to wear and how she wants to wear it.
Hazel and Liyana imagined how Lauren would be like, 25 years later, at a time when she would be focused on building her career. They wondered how her style would have evolved to reflect her femininity, ambition and independence. With that in mind, the duo created Lauren Jasmine for the working woman who wishes to express her creativity and personality through her clothes, while remaining elegant and professional at the office.
